Or, we kill a lot of people

We found a bug-out bag containing:

We came to the prison area, where we met Guy, a rogue from Zaith (whose stuff we found earlier) and Terrion. We returned Guy’s stuff to him. We found Terrion’s gear and returned it to him as well. Terrion snuck out of the fort. Searching the area, we found:

  • wine (119 bottles worth 6000 gp; Guy drank a cheap one but I don’t recall its cost)

Ascending the tower, we came upon and slayed two guards.

We came upon the baron and his guards and attacked. Meanwhile, Guy went to the library and tried to seduce the baron’s mistress, who attacked him.

Did we want to do house cleaning and get rid of all the side quests for ridiculous cash and prizes or did we want to just go straight for Armag? Another 100k worth of gear should make that encounter hilarious.

Seeing as he has hostages, I’d say go straight for him (in character).

Out of character, I suspect that 1) we’re probably underleveled, but 2) that probably won’t make muc of a difference. As long as we don’t run into any assassin vines… I hear that those things are deadly.
